The 20th week of the Kankinara Faculty and Training Programme, held on February 20th, focused on evaluating academic progress while embracing a significant expansion of the learning community. The week’s sessions were designed to bridge previous knowledge with new digital and creative skills, maintaining the programme's commitment to a holistic and inclusive educational environment.

The week began with a formal assessment session, where students were examined on the core concepts covered in previous classes. This evaluation served to reinforce their understanding and ensure that the historical and scientific narratives previously explored were deeply rooted. The energy of the programme was further amplified by the arrival of 10 new students, who joined the cohort this week. To facilitate their integration, a dedicated English introductory session was held, allowing the newcomers to practice their communication skills and feel welcomed into the interactive learning atmosphere.

A key highlight of the academic sessions was the introduction to digital literacy through Canva. Faculty and students collaborated to learn the very basics of the platform, exploring how visual design can be used to present ideas more effectively. This session demonstrated how modern tools can be integrated into the classroom to make learning more visually stimulating and aligned with 21st-century skills.

Following the digital exploration, the participants engaged in a unique embroidery and paper-craft session. Building on the stitching techniques learned previously, students were guided to create personalized greeting cards using paper. This activity challenged them to adapt traditional needlework to a different medium, encouraging precision, patience, and artistic flair. It showed how simple materials like paper and thread can be transformed into meaningful, handcrafted items, further bridging the gap between craft-based learning and classroom engagement.

Overall, the 20th week of the Kankinara Faculty Training Programme was a period of vibrant growth and joyful participation. The introduction of new members and the transition into digital design created a refreshing and energetic atmosphere. The week successfully supported faculty development by proving that consistent evaluation, combined with innovative creative projects, keeps the learning journey both effective and deeply enjoyable for everyone involved.
